RIO de Janeiro: A study published on Friday by Brazil’s Oswaldo Cruz Foundation showed that 2.3 million Brazilians show signs of heavy drinking. According to the study carried out in 2015, 46 million Brazilians aged 12-65 — almost a quarter of the total population — said they had ingested alcohol within the 30 days before they were interviewed.
