7 months 6 rebels arrested in Southern Negros Manilatimes
BACOLOD CITY: Six suspected members of the New People’s Army were arrested in separate operations by joint police and military personnel at Barangay Buenavista in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday. A report from the Philippine Army identified one of them as Rodrigo Medez, aka “Salvo,” secretary of the local party branch of the Central Negros Front, Komiteng Rehiyong-Negros, and member of Yunit Militia. The five others were Jimmy Teves, Jodito Montecino, JP Romano, Eliseo Andres and Roger “Jack” Sabanal, who are from the local party branch and are Yunit Militia members. Advertisements Advertisements
