Velasco The 552-megawatt GNPower Kauswagan coal-fired power facility is the newest addition to the roll of ‘energy projects of national significance’ that was granted certification by the Department of Energy. The plant is of four generating units at 138MW capacity each – and it is a venture under the thermal platform of the Ayala group. The facility was bequeathed its CEPNS on March 13 this year, according to official documents released by the energy department.
