2 weeks ‘Calibrated’: LTFRB opens 44 more routes for Metro Manila jeepneys Inquirer
MANILA, Philippines---The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has reopened 44 routes for traditional public utility jeepneys (PUJ), allowing 4,820 drivers to return to their jobs in Metro Manila amid general community quarantine (GCQ). The LTFRB said it was a "calibrated" reopening of PUJ routes which would now bring the number of jeepneys on the road to 27,016 and open routes to 302 in Metro Manila.
