THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) will be building another biomolecular laboratory in Metro Manila after receiving a P15 million donation from the Filipino-Chinese Community Calamity Fund (FCCCF). Sen. Richard Gordon, PRC chairman and chief executive officer, said the FCCCF signed a conditional deed of donation for “one full-fledged laboratory”. “We will have additional machines and additional extractors; we’ll have four machines and two RNAs, so we will have 20,000 testing capacity per day for this building alone, which I expect to be built in the next 10 days,” Gordon said.
