6 months DMCI posts P6.7 billion semester profit MB |Biz

Loyola Diversified engineering conglomerate DMCI Holdings, Inc.reported a 22 percent drop in consolidated net income to P6.7 billion for the first half of 2019 from the P8.6 billion earned in the same period last year. In a press briefing, the firm said the earnings slowdown was due to the weak contributions of Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC), D.M. Consunji, Inc. (DMCI) and DMCI Mining.
