3 months Foreign students visit PH for maritime training MB
By Betheena Unite Foreign maritime students recently visited the Philippines to educate themselves with the country’s maritime industry. The World Maritime University sent 13 students from Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Liberia, Argentina, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, and Fiji to the Philippine Coast Guard for a field study program Monday. As part of their Maritime Education Training, they were briefed about the organization’s functions, mandates, and modernization developments. The delegates were also given a short vessel tour on Coast Guard’s multi-role response vessel BRP Tubbataha (MRRV 4401).
