1 week House starts probe on alleged new PhilHealth scams on Aug. 5 Inquirer
MANILA, Philippines --- The probe to be conducted by the House of Representatives into the recent allegations of corruption in the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) will start on August 5, Wednesday. The House committee on public accounts, led by Anakalusugan Rep. Mike Defensor, will conduct the hearing with summoned officials of PhilHealth and Department of Health (DOH) to attend.
