By Alexandria Dennise San Juan After Tropical Storm “Dodong” (international name Sepat) exited the country, another potential tropical depression has entered the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday night. In the weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued Friday morning, the new low pressure area (LPA) was spotted off 960 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. PAGASA weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said the LPA entered PAR around 9 p.m. Thursday, or at least a day after Dodong left the country on Wednesday night and currently heading east northeast at 50 kilometers per hour (kph). ... more
