The country’s anti-competition body said it would issue guidelines for the exemption of deals provided under the Bayanihan To Recover As One (Bayanihan 2). In a statement on Monday, the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) said the implementing guidelines would cover mergers and acquisitions with less than P50 billion involved, which are entered into within two years from the effectivity of Bayanihan 2.
