By Jel Santos  The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) is appealing once again to well-meaning people to sponsor the treatment of less fortunate patients under PRC’s Dialysis Samaritan Program. Richard Gordon, PRC chairman, said that for a P4, 200-donation, a person can sponsor the cost of one session of hemodialysis treatment for a patient. It includes the use of a high-flux dialyzer, Erythropoietin (EPO) injection, emergency medications, oxygen support, and ambulances services.
