Renewed hopes to resolve the ongoing trade spat between the United States and China brought the local bourse to its three-day rally on Friday. The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose by 1.10 percent or 86.85 points to close at 7,979.66, while the wider All Shares increased by 0.92 percent or 43.71 percent to finish at 4,809.48. “Investors bought up during the window dressing period after China expressed hopes of resolving the trade dispute with the US with a ‘calm’ attitude,” Regina Capital Development Corp. head of sales Luis Limlingan said.
