THE stock market recovered somewhat on Friday after falling the day before as positive developments on foreign leads buoyed market sentiment. The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose 0.60 percent or 47.89 points to finish at 7,992.32, while the wider All Shares climbed by 0.48 percent or 23.18 points to close at 4,822.97. “Shares closed higher as investors digested [a number] of US-China trade news, along with [the introduction of a new] bond-buying program [by] Europe’s central bank,” Regina Capital Development Corp. head of sales Luis Limlingan said.
